Quicken Windows recently introduced an optional feature called "Simple Investing" which tracks just the value of each account without tracking the actual transactions. So I'm wondering what problem you're having? The price for this security appears to be downloading correctly. Since this is a mutual fund, it doesn't have high and low values each day anyway, and volume is often not reported for a mutual fund again, all that matters is the daily closing price, which is correct. (I looked it up on Yahoo Finance and found the same closing prices for those 5 days.) The closing price is all that matters for valuation. Next, the second screen shot you posted shows the correct closing prices for each day this past week. You could put in that name rather than the strange name currently. Because this can cause Quicken to lag momentarily if you have a large number of securities, I prefer to leave this unchecked I get price downloads only when I trigger them.įirst, I'm not sure why you have the security named "(24610H302)"? Based on the Symbol DVHIX, this is the Delaware National High Yield Municipal Bond Fund.
If that's the case, reply and we can point you int he right direction on doing that.)įinally, there is one other relevant Preference setting: in Preferences > Connected Services, the last checkbox is to "Automatically update investment quotes every 60 minutes." If you check this box, it will refresh prices quotes every hour while Quicken is running. (Note that if you hold securities which aren't tracked by Quicken's service provider, such as securities traded on many international stock exchanges, you will have to enter or import those price quotes manually.
If you've made any changes, now click the Update Accounts icon -at the top of the left sidebar or the Update Quotes icon - on any Portfolio screen, and Quicken should import the price history for your securities. Next, make sure each of the securities in your portfolio has an actual and correct Symbol. With the Download Quotes column visible, do your securities have a checkmark? If not, click those checkboxes.
